COLUMBIA, Ky. (August 14, 2016) – Post 15 was called to the scene of a shooting at approximately 1:18 AM CST at 60 Burnett Road in the limits of Columbia on Saturday morning, August 13th.  When investigators arrived, they found the owner of the residence, 22-year-old Christopher Janes, lying in the front yard of the residence with a gunshot wound to the head.  22-year-old Dustin Coomer, of Columbia, was found in an upstairs room of the residence with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.  The two men had been involved in an argument that led to Janes shooting Coomer before turning the gun on himself.
