Columbia Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at Lee’s Famous Recipe located at 105 Hudson Street at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday night.
Upon arrival officer’s learned that an unknown black male 5 ft 8 to 6 ft in height with a large build had entered business through an unlocked back door. The suspect made contact with employees and was armed with a handgun demanding cash. Suspect fled on foot in unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.
Columbia Police are looking for a vehicle of interest being a newer model white Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows. If anyone observed anything suspicious in the area or believes they may have seen a vehicle matching the description please call Columbia Police Department at 270-384-4119. Detective Tracy McCarrol is continuing the investigation.
