The Adair County Public Library is happy to announce that curb side service will begin May 13.
The library cannot offer any face to face services at this time so this will exclude copy, fax and computer service. Those services will be phased in as Gov. Andy Beshear’s restrictions are lifted.
In order to use curb side service, call or email the library with items wanted. Items will be pulled, checked out and bagged with the customer’s name on the bag. Bags will be placed outside the library on a table at the side entrance.
Items will be checked out for four weeks. The library is following strict CDC guidelines when items are returned to ensure the safety of patrons and staff. Each Wednesday between noon and 1 p.m., the library will close for shift change and sanitizing. This is in addition to cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day.
The library’s card catalog can be accessed through the library’s website, adaircountypubliclibrary.com.
The phone number for the library is 270-384-2472 and the email is [email protected] Library hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
