As a result of winter weather and unplayable conditions, the Lindsey Wilson baseball team again heads south to pick up games in the final weekend of February.
The Blue Raiders stop in Tennessee on Friday on their way down to Alabama for a total of four games on Saturday and Sunday.
Lindsey Wilson takes on Freed-Hardeman in Henderson, Tenn., on Friday Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. CT in the first game of the road trip.
The Blue Raiders then head to Faulkner (Ala.) University to face Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. CT in a neutral site game before a 6:30 p.m. CT meeting with the No. 5-ranked Eagles of Faulkner.
On Sunday March 1, Lindsey Wilson faces off against Judson (Ill.) at noon CT at Faulkner, followed by another game with the host Eagles at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The baseball team has been forced to put the 2015 home opener on hold yet again as the winter weather woes continue. Along with last week’s games against Union (Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan and Indiana Tech, this week’s meetings with Bethel (Ind.), Taylor (Ind.) and Rio Grande (Ohio) have all been postponed or canceled.
The 2015 home opener is now scheduled for March 3 against Purdue-North Central (Ind.).
