The Lindsey Wilson College Nursing Division honored its 16 seniors Thursday night with a pinning ceremony in V.P. Henry Auditorium. The 16 seniors — who will receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing on Saturday from the liberal arts college — received a lapel pin from the college’s nursing faculty to symbolically welcome them into the nursing profession. LWC will award a total of 210 undergraduate and graduate degrees its 101st commencement ceremony, which will be held at 10 a.m. CT Saturday, May 9, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive. Kentucky Secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Audrey Tayse Haynes, who is an Adair County native and Lindsey Wilson alumna, will deliver the spring commencement address. Haynes will also receive an honorary doctorate from LWC, as will trustee emeritus Tom Carter of Danville, Ky. Following commencement ceremony, the Lindsey Wilson National Alumni Association will hold a reception for graduates and guests in Roberta D.
