The Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament bracket was released on Sunday by conference officials.
The second-seeded Blue Raiders take on seventh-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) in an opening round matchup.
All tournament games will be played at Michael O. Buchanan Park in Bowling Green, Ky., on either the Orange or Burgundy Fields.
Lindsey Wilson swept the Patriots in a four-game series earlier this season.
Other first round matchups include top-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) taking on eighth-seeded Shawnee State (Ohio), fourth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) facing fifth-seeded St. Catharine (Ky.), and third-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) taking on sixth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.).
The tournament begins on Thursday, April 30 at Michael O. Buchanon Park in Bowling Green, Ky. Eight games are on tap for Thursday with four games slated for Friday, May 1.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, May 2. An if-necessary championship game — if the team out of the consolation bracket beats the team from the winner’s bracket on Saturday — will be played on Sunday, May 3.
The tournament champion receives the Mid-South Conference’s automatic bid into the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round next month at various sites across the NAIA.
A full preview of Thursday’s matchup will be available later this week on LindseyAthletics.com.
