The 18th-ranked Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball team plays at Berea on Tuesday at 4 p.m. CT in the Seabury Center.
Originally set to be played on Tuesday, Feb. 17, the matchup had to be postponed due to inclement weather throughout Kentucky last week.
The visiting Blue Raiders (21-6) have won three in a row as well as five of their past six games. In its most-recent action, Lindsey Wilson defeated then-No. 21 Shawnee State (Ohio) by a 79-66 margin on Feb. 14.
In road games, the Blue Raiders hold an 8-4 record. Chanel Roberts leads the team in points scored (416), rebounds (167), field goals (151) and free throws (100). Billie Hearn is averaging 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and paces Lindsey Wilson with 32 blocked shots.
Entering tonight’s game, head coach John B. Wethington has 499 career coaching victories, all while at Lindsey Wilson. For the host Mountaineers (13-9), this meeting marks their second game in as many days following their 79-55 loss at West Virginia Tech on Monday.
