Lindsey Wilson Women’s Basketball to face Georgetown in MSC Tournament quarterfinals
COLUMBIA, Ky. — No. 13-ranked Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball opens the Mid-South Conference Tournament against Georgetown (Ky.) on Friday at Bowling Green Arena in Bowling Green, Ky.

The second-seeded Blue Raiders (25-5, 13-3 in the MSC) and seven-seeded Tigers tip-off at 5:30 p.m. CT on the campus of Bowling Green High School.
Lindsey Wilson defeated Georgetown (14-15, 5-11) twice during the regular season — beating the Tigers 100-63 in Georgetown on Jan. 25 and 80-70 at home on Feb. 20.
Lindsey Wilson finished tied for second in the standings with Shawnee State (Ohio) but earned the tiebreaker based on its sweep of the Bears during the regular season.
The Lindsey Wilson-Georgetown winner advances to Sunday’s semifinal game against the winner of No. 3-seed Shawnee State and No. 6-seed Cumberlands (Ky.). The championship game is slated for Monday night.
Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament winners of three straight and 15 of its last 17 games. The Blue Raiders closed out the regular season on Thursday night with a 76-64 win at Cumberlands.
The MSC Tournament begins on Monday night with an opening-round game in Marietta, Georgia as eighth-seeded Life (Ga.) hosts No. 9-seed Cumberland (Tenn.).
Quarterfinal action begins on Friday, March 6, as top-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) meets the Life-Cumberland winner at 1 p.m. CT. Fourth-seeded Thomas More (Ky.) meets fifth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) at 3 p.m. CT. Shawnee State and Cumberlands (Ky.) meet after the Lindsey Wilson and Georgetown game in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Lindsey Wilson and Georgetown are slated to tip at 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday.
