Mary Edna Hadley, 90, of Columbia, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at her home.

She was born on June 5, 1926 in Adair County, to the late Loren and Annie Cundiff Hadley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Hadley; a granddaughter, Brittanhy Dwan Brockman; and her brother and sister, Bro. Buford Hadley and Jessie Sullivan.

She was a field representative for the Kentucky Farm Workers program, attended Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of Westlake Regional Hospital Auxiliary and was very involved in numerous other community activities.

She is survived by three sons, Dwight (Carolyn) Hadley, Dwan (LaVerne) Hadley and Terry (Rita) Hadley, all of Columbia; two daughters, Susan (James) Brockman of Paducah and Patricia Zatkoff of Columbia; her sister-in-law, Margaret Hadley of Cundiff; and a very special friend, Carol Murphy of Columbia.

Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 4 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. William Davenport and Bro. Michael Helm officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Robby Brockman, Doug McClure, David Karnes, Ryder Karnes, Walker Karnes, Jonathan Hadley and Eddie Kessler.
