Mazetta Keltner 'Mozie' Hatcher, 91

Mazetta Keltner “Mozie” Hatcher, 91, of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Mell, Ky. on Oct. 10, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Alford and Montrie Blaydes Keltner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Thompson Hatcher; and by her daughter, Sharon Kaye Hatcher.

Mozie was a housewife and was a charter member of Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, and attended State Street United Methodist Church in Bowling Green. She was also a member of Chapter D PEO.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Ronald Hatcher and his wife Elsie of Bowling Green; a son-in-law, Dr. William Douglas Hacker of Lexington; two brothers, George Thomas Keltner of Columbia, Carl David Keltner and his wife Virginia of Glasgow; five grandchildren, Lee Moore and her husband John of Bowling Green, Tommy Hatcher and his wife Nancy of Atlanta, Ga., William Douglas Hacker and his wife Neeley of Glendale, Sharon Children and her husband Dr. Kyle Childers of Lexington; and Millie Childers and her husband Todd of Corbin.

Ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A special thank you to the caregivers who treated her like family, Lillie Mitchell, Berona Massey, Lisa Jones and Shirley Jackson.

Graveside services were Sunday, Sept. 23 at Manchester Memorial Gardens. Arrangements in Bowling Green have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
