Rose Adcock from Taylorsville was driving back from a weekend at Green River when she first smelled smoke. The smoke immediately started filling the inside of the couple’s motor home, so they immediately pulled over to get out of the vehicle.
By the time they checked the engine, the motor home was already in flames. It was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene. Due to the vehicle having just been filled with propane, the Columbia bypass was closed in case the propane ignited. No one was injured. The reason for the fire remains unknown.
