A new convenience store promises to bring competitive prices at the fuel pumps when it opens in the Pinewood Shopping Center.
County Judge Executive Michael Lee Stephens, a partner in the new shopping center, made the second announcement in two weeks about development at the site. Stephens announced last week the opening of a Black Stallion Steakhouse.
The convenience store, called Magic Market, will cover 6,500 sq. ft. and will be located near the corner of Burkesville and Edmonton roads near a medical facility currently under construction. Stephens said a competitive fuel distributor will bring competition to the community. The market will provide groceries as well as deli items and other convenience store items.
