OBIT: Clarence “Buck” Corbin, 81

Clarence “Buck” Corbin, 81, of Columbia, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at Campbellsville Retirement Home in Campbellsville.
He was born on June 16, 1930 in Adair County and was the son of the late Ambrose and Lorena Pearl Bell Corbin.
He was employed at Gate Service Station for many years and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Greg Corbin; four brothers and three sisters, Roscoe, Olen and Raymond Corbin, Gladys Harmon, Estelle Ford and Lola Mae Reynolds.
He is survived by two daughters, Rita Neat of Columbia and Amber Thomason of Glasgow; two sons, Steve and Allan Corbin, both of Columbia; and by 17 grandchildren, Jared Corbin, Bianca Vets, Samara Skinner, Steve, Eric and Abaigail Corbin, Scotty Neat, Kristin and David Thomason, Jr., Litney Davis, Tiffany Janes, Kayla and Landon Corbin, Britany Tucker, Erica Hall and Emily and Shane Hall.
Eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Coffey officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097.
Casket bearers were Stevie Corbin, Donnie Ford, David Corbin, Paul Reynolds, David Thomason and Scotty Neat.
