Darlene Brandenburg, 52, a resident of Liberty Care Center, formerly of the Knifley community, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 5:45 a.m. at Casey County Hospital in Liberty.

She was born March 29, 1960 in Louisville to the late William Bray Jr. and Sue Chandler Bray, who survives, of Knifley.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Brandenburg, of Knifley; one son, Lee Brandenburg, of Roley; one daughter, Jennifer Pyles and her husband Marty, of Knifley; five brothers, Danny Bray and his wife Chris; Ricky Bray and his wife Angela; Joe Bray and his wife Tracy, all of Campbellsville, Bobby Bray and his wife Deedra, of Knifley and Bill Bray and his wife Melissa, of Knifley; four sisters, Peggy Bray of Campbellsville; Karen Overstreet and her husband Jimmy, of Knifley, Tina Coffman and her husband Joe, and Missy Gibson, of Cleveland, Tenn.; and one grandchild, Cassie Ann Richard.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy Ann Brandenburg.

Darlene was a member of Knifley Christian Church and a homemaker.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 24 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers and Bro. Chris Murphy officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Casket bearers were John Wagner, Wayne Wagner, Jim Wagner, Jimmy Overstreet, Donnie Bray, B.J. Bray and Micah Overstreet.
