OBIT: Genettia Loy, 77

Genettia Loy, 77, of the Fairplay community, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at Audobon Regional Hospital in Louisville.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1934 in Adair County and she was the daughter of the late James Alfred and Vina Akin Baker.

She is survived by by her husband, Eros Loy of Fairplay; one son, Donald Lynn Loy and his wife Annie of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, Joshua and Noah Loy; and by one sister-in-law, Joyce Baker.

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Vestoria Morrison, Oneta Roberts and James Delmon Baker.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired from SOS factory in Chicago.

Funeral service is today at 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating with interment in Loy Cemetery at Fairplay.

Pallbearers are Terry Loy, Douglas Loy, Sammy Loy, Ray Morrison, Dale Morrison, Mike Morrison and Darrell Morrison.
