Reva Grant, 75, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at her home after several months illness.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Pierce Hill of Russell County.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Grant of Jamestown; one daughter, Sharon Kay Warbiany and her husband Len of Alsip, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Sue Grant of Elwood, Ill.; six grandchildren, Shaw Warbiany, Shannon Donato and Phillip Warbiany, Michael Grant, Michelle Slattery and James Grant.
Ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Glenn Grant in May 2011 and by her two brothers, John Hill and Collin Hill.
Mrs. Grant was a member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Borg Warner auto assembly plant in Belwood, Ill.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Jan 25 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Randy Brown officiating with interment in Dixon Cemetery in Jamestown.
Pallbearers were Billy Grant, Derrick Helm, Larry Helm, Chris Young, Mark Young and Troy Young.
Honorary pallbearers were Marie Helm, Wanda Helm, Irene Loy, Jeannette Loy, Ruth Loy, Lillie Pike, Larimie Richardson and Linda Young.
