OBIT: Travis Gordon “Gordy” Fair, 48

Travis Gordon “Gordy” Fair, 48, of Columbia, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 from injuries received in an automobile accident on Hwy. E. 80 near the Adair/Russell County line.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1964 in Danville and was the son of the late Ray Fair and Mary Jane Johns Brogan of Oxnard, Calif. and also the son of Annette Burton of Columbia, who survives.
He is also survived by one daughter, Kasey Marie Fair of Columbia; sons, Christopher Brian Fair of Columbia and Kenneth Gordon Fair of Campbellsville; two brothers, John Fair of Washington and Otha Lehman Fair of California; two sisters, Lisa Cowan of Columbia and Cathy Fair of California; two step brothers, Randy J. Corbin and Kevin E. Corbin of Columbia; one step sister, Debra Corbin of Columbia; one granddaughter, Jacklyn Fair; and one special brother-in-law, Tim Cowan.
Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives also survive.
Funeral service was Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating with interment in Brush Creek Cemetery in Casey County.
Pallbearers were Charles Bomar, William Corbin, Michael Drabik, Rick Loveless, Dennis Petty and Josh Wooten.
