OBIT: Wm. Earl Pierce, 73

Wm. Earl Pierce, 73, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at Westlake Regional Hospital.
He was born on April 15, 1938 in Adair County and was the son of the late John Homer and Ella Jessie Pierce and was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Raymond Pierce in December 2010.
He is survived by three sissters, Louise Merrell of Columbia, Dorothy Cowan of Dardanelle, Ark. and Annie Pearl Hammond of Celina, Tenn.; and by three brothers, H.W. Pierce of Russell Springs, Arnold Ray Pierce of Columbia and Bobby Pierce of Paris, Tenn.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Hagan officiating with burial in Barnes Cemetery in Breeding.
Casket bearers were Michael Matney, Joe Hale, Randy Richards, Thomas Richards, Wesley Melson and Danny Pierce.
