Oliver N. ‘Cat’ Stone, 85, formerly of the Sparksville community, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at Lyndon Woods Nursing Home in Louisville.
He was born Sept. 16, 1937, in Adair County, to the late George P. and Ruth Bowe Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, C.M. and James W. Stone.
Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Chelcie and Diane Stone of Sparksville; one sister, Shirron Sue Stone of Louisville; four nephews, Bernie, Jason, Brad and Dale.
Cat requested that no services or visitation be held.
Burial was on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023 in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
