Peggy Waggener, 81, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Glasgow State Nursing Facility in Glasgow.
She was born January 1, 1939, in Adair County, to the late Fred and Sadie Flatt Janes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan. C. Waggener, her brother, Bee Janes, her sister, Jessaphine Wheeler, and a great-grandchild, Bailey Fletcher.
Peggy, along with her late husband, owned and operated Columbia Tire & Recap and was a member of Columbia Baptist Church.

Her daughter & son-in-law – Ann and Gary Melton of Columbia
Her son & daughter-in-law – Dan and Cindi Waggener of Columbia
Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
Several other relatives & friends
A private service was held in the Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating. Burial followed the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparus would be appreciated and can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
