Phillip Wayne York, 66, of the Bryan community in Russell County, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at 2:19 P.M. at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born June 10, 1951, in Bryan, KY and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel York.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Tracy (Cameron) Murrell of Columbia

His mother – Edna Hill York of Jamestown

Three brothers – Elvis (Judy) York of Jamestown, Preston (Del) York of Russell Springs, Rocky (Priscilla) York of Ft. Wright

Two sisters – Linda Earlene Coffey and Carol (Danny) Brumley all of Jamestown

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Graveside service – Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. at the Samuel York Family Cemetery in Russell County with Bro. Michael Helm officiating

Burial to follow

Visitation from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Casket Bearers: Eric Brumley, Joey Adams, Pete Helm, Chris York, Tony York, Dustin York
