Phyllis Ann Earls Dickens

Phyllis Ann Earls Dickens, 66, of Peytona, W.V., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016. She was born on April 4, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Amos Jack and Lucille Morrison Earls of Adair County.

She was an avid reader and loved being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Margaret Branigan and by a nephew, Richard Branigan.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Raymond Dickens and her children, Sheila Dickens of Nottingham, Md., Sherry Dickens of Peytona, W.V., Ray (Trish) Dickens, Jr. of Nitro, W.V. and Zane (Jenn) Dickens of Nashville, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Christopher Pierce, Cassie Pierce, Jasmine Pierce, Sara Estep, Haley Dickens, Gabriel Dickens, Jacob Miller and Hannah Dickens; her siblings, Jackie Lechner, Donna Hernandez, Roy Morrision of Chicago, Ill., Coy Morrison of Russell Springs, Gail Alexander of Columbia, Ray Morrison of Columbia and Janice Morrison Dulworth of Columbia.

Nine great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service was Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Atha Chapel in Peytonba, W.V. with Rev. Jeff Howerton officiating with burial in Pineview Cemetery.
