A supply of narcotics and other drugs were stolen from North Century Pharmacy early Sunday morning and a burglar successfully covered up–at least temporarily–his forced entry into the building.
911 Dispatch received a call of a burglary alarm at the pharmacy, located at 3058 Campbellsville Rd., just after 6 a.m. Sunday. Police checked the perimeter of the building and everything appeared to be secure. An hour later when the manager arrived, however, he learned that drugs were missing.

The thief, or thieves, had gained entry by damaging a section of the wall. Police apparently did not see the damage when they checked for entry.
A list of medications was taken along with around $300 in cash.
Footage from security cameras at the office of Dr. Charles Giles showed what appeared to be a tall male with his face covered. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office and Columbia City Police are investigating.
