Adair County PVA Jeff Feese was indicted by an Adair County grand jury on Friday and accused of being involved in a hit-and-run in January.
Feese is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with physical evidence, which is a Class D felony.
According to the indictments, Feese is accused of being involved in an accident resulting in injury to another person or damage to a vehicle or other property on Jan. 13 and leaving the scene without offering assistance. He is also accused of knowingly destroying or concealing or altering physical evidence.
Feese was not in his office Monday when an attempt was made to reach him for comment. According to a citation at the Adair Circuit Clerk’s office, Feese was arrested Monday at 12:16 p.m. and jail records show he was released less than an hour later. Kentucky State Police is investigating.

(Columbia, KY.) – 48-year-old Jeffrey L. Feese, of Columbia KY, was arrested today at 12:31 PM CST at the Adair County Annex. Post 15 Troopers executed a warrant, charging Feese with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Feese was indicted by the Adair County Grand Jury last Friday, January 29th, following an investigation into Feese leaving the scene of a collision that occurred on Saturday, January 13th, 2016. Tpr. Clint Bale is investigating and was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department who investigated the collision.
