Randall D. Pyles, 81, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN.  Born in Adair County he was the son of the late Finis and Marie Burton Pyles.  He was also preceded in death by a brother W. A. Pyles and a sister Shirley Pyles.

Mr. Pyles was a charter member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Owner and Operator of Pyles Concrete and an avid classic car enthusiast.  Mr. Pyles was a very active member of the Adair County community having previously served on the former Westlake Regional Hospital board and the Adair County Tourism Committee.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Joyce Garrett Pyles of Columbia, KY; three children Cindi Waggener (Dan) of Columbia, KY, Doug Pyles (Tammy) of Columbia and Craig Pyles (Carla) of Brentwood, TN; seven grandchildren Will Waggener (Jordan), Michael Waggener, Jacob Pyles (Mattie), Luke Pyles, Zachary Pyles, Holly Hill (John) and Emily Pyles; two great-grandchildren Carson Pyles and Ellie Staten; a brother Joe Pyles (Annabelle) of Columbia; a sister-in-law Barbara Pyles Fuhr of Katy, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be a private graveside service held on Wednesday at the Haven Hill Cemetery.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family of Mr. Pyles asks that memorial gifts take the form of donations to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital at P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142  Memphis, TN 38101 or the Mayo Clinic Hematology Department.  These donations can be left at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home or directly to the Mayo Clinic by calling 855-852-8129 or mailed to:
