The Community Voice is in search of a reporter or assistant editor. Be part of a weekly newspaper that focuses on accountability journalism and speaks with a strong editorial voice. Position includes general news reporting, feature writing, investigative journalism, and some page design (Quark Xpress and Photoshop). Candidate will also assist with a statewide agriculture newspaper with reporting and/or page design.
Candidate must be flexible, well organized, a team player, love community journalism and have either college or professional journalism experience. This is an opportunity to work with an independently owned, community newspaper and move into a leadership role quickly.
