The Adair County Republican Party is hosting a gubernatorial forum.
Matt Bevin, James Comer, Hal Heiner and Will T. Scott will participate in a question and answer session on Thursday, April 30 at the Cranmer Dining Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College.
In addition to the gubernatorial candidates, all Republican candidates in the May primary have been invited to attend the event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and a “meet and greet” with all candidates begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children at the door. Children under 5 get in free.
Shannon Rowe, chairman of the Adair County Republican Party, said the gubernatorial candidates would be asked a series of questions about topics of interest on a state and local level.
“Area voters will also get to visit with other candidates running for statewide office prior to the forum and get to know them better,” Rowe said. “This is a real chance to learn more about all the Republican candidates and make an informed decision when going to the polls on May 19.”
The Community Voice is a co-sponsor of the event.
