Rodney Wooten, 60, of Milltown, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 in Clarksville, Ind.
He was born on May 12, 1956 in Corydon, Ind., and was the son of the late Jacob Odell and Mabel Wheeler Wooten.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Cecelia Ann Kitchem, Patricia Louise Mamer, Pricilla Rose Purvis, Jacob Odell Wooten, Delores Marie Moore, Marvin Odell Wooten and Marshall Allen Wooten.
He was a United States Army veteran and a truck driver for Kentuckiana Trucking.
Rodney loved and admired his children and grandchildren, enjoyed riding horses, loved going hunting, four-wheeling, mudding and cooking for the whole family.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Page Wooten of Milltown; two sons, Danny and Jason Wooten, both of Columbia; two brothers, Roger Dale Wooten of Corydon, Ind., and Melvin Odell Wooten of Columbia; two sisters, Doris Jean Bachman of Corydon, Ind., and Marilyn Anita Sneed of Columbia; four grandchildren, Shyann, Blaze and Ethan Wooten and Treyton Jane.
Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 14 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating with burial in Milltown Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097.
