Ruby Cole Jessie 89 of Glasgow died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
She was born in Adair County the daughter of the late Willie D. and Myrtie Sparks Cole.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence Gilbert Jessie.
Mrs. Jessie was a homemaker and was the first president of the Barren County Republican Women’s Club.
She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 25 years.
Survivors include her daughter Barbara Jane Pendleton and husband John of Glasgow
a brother Tom Cole and wife Anna of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews including special nieces and nephews,
Glenn Cole, Marsha Cole Wardlaw, Tony Cole and Becky Garnick. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home
in Glasgow, KY
Burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 4:30pm Saturday.
