Rudy Ray Rogers, 60, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 at the Hospitals of Prividence in El Paso, Texas.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1956 in Adair County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Rogers, and one sister, Carolyn Rogers.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, was a welder and attended Carrying the Torch Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Perkins Rogers of Campbellsville; his mother, Lucille Atchley Garrett of Campbellsville; one son, Michael (Jennifer) Rogers of Columbia; two daughters, Sherry (Kenneth) Summers of Phoenix, Ariz. and Bridgett (Daniel) Dicken of Campbellsville; one sister, Kelly Turner of Magnolia; two brothers, Randy Rogers of Tennessee and Robbie Harris of Campbellsville. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral service was Saturday, Dec. 3 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn McInteer officiating and burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Russell County with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097.
Casket bearers were Zack Gilbert, Robert Chapman, Junior Crawhorn, Chad Garmon, Everett Allen and Tony Perkins.
