The Kentucky State Police are attempting to locate a Matthew Dale Grider, a 34-year-old, 6′ 1″, white male with brown hair, last seen wearing a gray cap, tan shirt and blue jeans.
At approximately 4:34 PM CST Wednesday a task force officer with the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigation unit attempted to execute an arrest warrant on Grider. S
hots were exchanged and Grider fled. The officer was not injured but Grider’s condition is unknown. The incident occurred on Sand Knob Road in Casey County.
Grider is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If anyone has any information regarding Griders location, please contact local law enforcement by dialing 911 or call the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555.
