Adair County Kwik Lube is the second business to announce plans to open in the new Pinewood Shopping Development. The new Kwik Lube is owned by Mendel and LaGene Sexton and Bruce and Shannon Sexton. Mendel and LaGene have owned a similar business in Russell Springs since 1999.
The car center, which offers tires, oil changes and other services, will be designed similar to the overall shopping mall design.
“We are thrilled to finally have the opportunity to open a facility in our hometown,” LaGene Sexton said about the announcement. The target opening date is later this year or early 2017, she added.
An Urgent Treatment Center has also announced plans to locate in the development (see separate post).
