Sheriff’s Dept. Arrests Suspected Impaired Driver

Early Sunday morning at approximately 12:20am, Deputy Josh
Durbin initiated a traffic stop on a 2007 Lincoln on Campbellsville Road
for reckless driving.

After contact with the driver, Deputy Durbin observed
an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle and the driver
appeared to be under the influence.

After further investigation, Deputy Durbin also located a small amount of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. 21-year-old Elliot Clark was arrested and charged with:

  • Reckless Driving
  • Possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle
  • DUI
  • Operating a vehicle with expired operators license
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia.

Deputy Durbin was assisted at the scene
by Adair County Deputy Brandon Hitch.
