Sherry Brock Wolford, 46, of Campbellsville, departed this life on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1970 in Louisville to Gilbert Brock and the late Ruth (Blythe) Brock.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. She was a manager for Dollar Tree in Campbellsville and was a loving mother, sister, daughter and wife.
She is survived by her husband, Cody Wolford of Campbellsville; one son, Cody Brock Wolford of Campbellsville; one daughter, Cameo Blythe Wolford of Campbellsville; her father and stepmother, Gilbert and Barbara Brock of Columbia; two step-children, Ash Wolford of Russell Springs and Nicole Wolford of Columbia; three siblings, Phyllis Hansel and her husband David of Columbia, Lisa Ford of Campbellsville and Ray Brock and his wife Jennifer of Columbia; two step sisters, Lesa Nimmie and her husband Daniel and Tammy McHorter and her husband Troy, all of Campbellsville; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Conover, Jon Hansel, Spencer Hansel, Ryan Ford, Cooper Brock, Brody Brock, Jeremy Wolford, Shay Wolford, Lejano Zavalija, Leslie Wolford, Austin Wolford, Brinley Wolford, Brandy Bowe, Brittany Merrith, Kayla Holmes, Tiara Holmes, Trevor McHorter, Chelsea Nimmie, Kirsten Nimmie and Jacob Nimmie; great nephews, Hudson Conover, Jackson Conover and Jace Nimmie; and by close family friends, Rick and Suzanne Rogers of Columbia. A host of other friends and relatives also survive.
There was a celebration of life on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at L.R. Petty Funeral Home. At her request cremation rites were accorded her after the service.
