Single vehicle rollover collision results in injury to Adair County resident.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Adair County Sheriffs office was dispatched to a injury collision on Flat Rock Road 13 miles south of Columbia in the Breeding Community.
Upon arrival, it was found that Hannah Higgs, 18, of Columbia was operating a 2008 Ford Fusion when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, went up an earth embankment and overturned.
The passenger of the vehicle, Cheyenne Smith, was treated on scene by Adair County EMS and transported to T.J. Health of Columbia.
Higgs was not injured as seatbelts were in use at time of accident.
Chief Deputy Justin Cross is investigating the collision and was assisted by Sheriff Josh Brockman and the Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department.
