The Square Meals Café will be a part of Christmas in Columbia this year, Saturday December 3rd.
There’s a strong tradition of giving during the Christmas holidays and there’s no better way to begin than by supporting the Square Meals program and the Farmers Market on the Square. Square Meals is a community organized program bringing our young people together with local farmers and foods. Kids learn how to make good food choices, they encounter new tastes and even experience healthy and delicious foods they can prepare themselves.
The Square Meals Café will be open all day Saturday December 3rd. We’ll be serving hot & hearty homemade chili, grilled-all beef hot dogs, decadent hot drinks to keep you warm and cozy plus lots of special treats.
You’ll find our bright yellow café on the Square in Columbia – open 8am until after the Christmas parade.
Every purchase supports the Square Meals program where every kid all the way through college eats for free every Saturday during the market season.
