Steve Franklin, 57, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 7:57 A.M. at his residence after an illness.
He was born November 28, 1960, in Adair County, to the late J.M. and Mae Bernard Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings; Jimmy and Marie Franklin. He was a self-employed painter.
Survivors include:
One daughter – Laura Franklin-McCloud of Columbia
One step-son – Sammy Hatfield of Columbia
One brother – Johnny Franklin of Columbia
Four grandchildren – Hayden Yarberry, Jamisen Hatfield, Lily Mae McCloud, Ella Grace Hatfield
Special friends and care-givers – Marsha Burke and Pattie McClister
Several other relatives and friends
At Steve’s request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial service with be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Beulah Chapel Cemetery
There will be no visitation
