The City of Columbia will be having their sixth annual “Paint The Town,” in which businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals are assigned a portion of the sidewalk to do sidewalk art. The date this year is Thursday, July 25. The city is planning for all to do the same day and if feasible from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
You will be assigned a portion of sidewalk for the event. The city is hoping to have a couple of other activities on the square during the same hours. If you would like to participate, please call City Hall at 270-384-2501 and sign up with Tiffany Collins.
“We want to make this an activity for the community and for families to participate in,” stated Mayor Pamela Hoots.
