On Tuesday night, the Adair County Middle School Lady Indians took home a big win against Green County – a big start to the 2024 conference season for the young basketball players.
“Three big conference wins to start the conference season,” Coach Sneed said of his team.
The Lady Indians handily beat the competition in all three grade levels. For sixth grade, Adair County scored 22 to Green’s 11.
Seventh grade Adair County girls scored 40 against Green County’s 24.
And Adair’s eighth grade scored 48 to 36.
In their last game against Taylor County on Thursday, Coach Sneed said that his players were “working hard and learning,” and it appears their efforts are paying off. After a season marked by losses so far, the major wins have rejuvenated the teams, whose members are already excited for their next game.
“Back at it Thursday,” Coach Sneed said. “Come out and watch these young ladies play!”
