Dylan B. Willis, an Adair County native, died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle accident in Metcalfe County.
According to the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office, Willis was traveling eastbound on Delk Branch Rd. around six miles southeast of Edmonton when his vehicle dropped off the eastbound shoulder. The vehicle then over-corrected and exited the roadway on the westbound shoulder. The vehicle then struck a guardrail and two trees before coming to rest.
Willis was pronounced dead at the scene by Metcalfe County Coroner Lee Ann Jones. Law enforcement responded to the scene at 6:16 a.m. Sheriff Lonnie Hodges is investigating.
