Charles G. Robertson, age 85, of Russell Springs passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Russell County Hospital.
He was born on Saturday, June 17, 1939 in the Font Hill Community of Russell County, Kentucky. He was the son of Ica Luttrell Robertson and Ollis Robertson who both preceded him in death
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Robertson of Russell Springs; three brothers, Harlan Robertson (Brenda), Paul Robertson (Paula), and Jim Robertson, all of Russell Springs.
He is also survived by nieces, Amanda Robertson, Barbara Bryant, Paula Brown and nephews, Preston Robertson, David Robertson and Wayne Robertson, along with a special cousin, Margaret Ann Rogers.
Charles was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force serving from January 26, 1962 until January 23, 1970.
He was a farmer and member of New Friendship United Baptist Church. He loved his family, the family farm at Font Hill, angus cattle and quarter horses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. and Kenneth Robertson, and nephews Glen Edward, Don "Sally" Robertson, and Ronnie "Bull" Robertson.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 17, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs.
Interment was in Robertson Family Cemetery in Russell Springs.
Bro. Larold Gosser officiated.
Pallbearers were Preston Robertson, David Robertson, Jared Foley, Cass Foley, Eli Foley, Micah Thomas, and Adam Kerr.
Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
