Dakota “Coda” Tarter, 62, formerly of Columbia, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at her residence in Somerset.
She was born April 28, 1961, in Adair County to the late Edwin “Tootie” and Fannie Taylor Tarter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Tarter, and one sister, Linda Ford.
Survivors include four brothers, Terry Tarter (Peggy Jo) of Glasgow, Charles Tarter (Kathy), Andy and Danny Tarter all of Columbia; three sisters, Peggy Tarter of Somerset, and Rosa Tarter and Carolyn Tarter both of Columbia; several other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held Sept. 28, 2023 at Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating and with burial following.
