Dennis Owen Kemp, 61, of Columbia passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at TJ Health Columbia. He was born on September 6, 1963 in Columbia to the late Rolliin Willis and Martha Elizabeth Tupman Kemp.
Mr. Kemp was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and a farmer and former teacher in Adair County. He enjoyed restoring Corvettes, riding dirt bikes and playing the guitar.
Survivors include his cousins, Leslie Kemp Hudson (Keith), Brian Kemp, James Tupman, Radine Lile, Brent Kemp and Mark Kemp; and several other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home with Bro. John Davis officiating and burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Sunday, January 5, 2025 after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Kemp, Colton Kemp, Brent Kemp, Keith Hudson and John Tupman.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
