Evelyn Gay Bentley, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Leonard Perkins and Myrtle Overstreet Perkins, was born January 30, 1949 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Monday, February 3, 2025 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital.
Evelyn professed faith in Christ and attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Knifley. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda DeSpain & husband Mikeal and Vanessa Bottoms, both of Greensburg; one grandson, BJ Farmer of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Andrew Farmer, Bree Farmer, Brian Brackett, and Paislee Farmer; three brothers, Donald Perkins (Anna), Jody Perkins (Sharon), and Johnny Perkins (Donna), all of Knifley; and one sister, Barbara Lockridge of Knifley
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Perkins, and one great-grandson, Brayden Farmer.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 8 at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville with Bro. Donnie Perkins and Bro. Jody Perkins officiating. Burial was in Robinson Ridge Cemetery.
L.R. Petty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
