A Grandparents are Heroes Conference will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Chamber of Commerce building basement, 201 Burkesville St., Registration is limited and there are currently 13 spots available so please register as soon as possible. The event is held to support grandparents who are raising their grandchildren or anyone raising children other than their own in Adair and Russell counties. The event begins at 8:30 a.m with registration and offers several topics to provide education and resources for grandparents. Lunch is served at the end of the conference.
