Members of KY Safe, Troy Phillips, Madeleon Brown and Aiden Johnson donated personal protective equipment to Adair County. Included in the items donated are safety glasses, gloves, goggles, and Hi-Viz vests due to the significant flooding. Deputy Judge Executive Bridgett Compton applied for flood relief funds from FEMA due the impacts on the county. The items donated were distributed to all of the volunteer fire departments, road department and class d inmate workers.
Phillips stated that KY Safe had received numerous donations and were able to distribute PPE materials across the state, with the most being in Frankfort where flooding was more severe.
