Lady Indians end season play

Adair County Indians softball took on Caverna last Thursday. Allee Campbell put the Indians on the board with a three-run homer in the first inning.
Halynn Stargel pitched an impressive game with zero hits, zero runs, four strike outs, and zero walks over five innings.
The Indians took on Clinton County on Monday but fell short losing 1-4. Keylin Bergin, Shelby Riley and Callee White each drew a hit with Bergin batting in the single run for Adair County.
On Tuesday, Adair County softball had a huge win over Metcalfe County with a final score of 16-1. Gracie Gist and Callee White both hit singles in the first, putting the Indians in the lead.
In the bottom of the third, the Indians scored five runs. Campbell, Shelby Riley, and Reese Bardin each drove in one run and Bergin drove in two. The hitting streak continued as eight more runs were scored in the fourth inning.
Pitching for the Indians, Jade Waggner only surrendered three hits and one run with the Indians ending their regular season play on a high note.
