Master magician Lance Burton brought his touring act, Lance Burton and Friends, to the Adair County High School gym on Sunday night. The show, a rare opportunity to see a full performance from the long-time Las Vegas resident and Adair native, brought in a large crowd and was held in support of the Adair County Middle School cheerleaders.
Accompanying Burton were fellow magicians and performers Keith West and the Illusioneers as well as juggler and former circus clown, Michael Carey Goudeau.
“We appreciate Lance Burton being a member of our community, and we appreciate what he did for the Adair County Middle School cheerleaders,” said Mayor Pam Hoots, who introduced Burton at the show.
