Larry Scott Power, 67, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at T. J. Health Columbia. He was born on November 12, 1956 in Indiana to the late Delbert Leroy Power and Frances Ellen Anthis Harmon. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Bower.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Radford Power; five children, Heather Tomes (Bryan) of Glasgow, Lindsey Manka (Will) of Illinois, Tia Green of Indiana, William Power of Florida, and Bridgett Power of Missouri; two stepchildren, Brandon Jones of Lexington, and Kendra Smith of Columbia; two grandchildren, Millie Tomes and Lokey William Manka; and two sisters, Kathy Sneed of Columbia and Sandy Hughes of Florida.
The family honored Mr. Power’s wishes of cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with cremation expenses.
