Leoda Curry, 75, of Campbellsville, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at her home after an illness.
She was born October 25, 1949 in Adair County to the late Walker and Doris McGaha Cowan. Leoda worked at Summit Manor Nursing Home for 43 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was an in-home caregiver.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Curry of Campbellsville; two daughters, Allison Bardin of Campbellsville and Amy Mouser of Columbia; two sons, Mark Curry (Tammy) and Mike Curry (Alice) of Columbia; five brothers, Vaughn Cowan (Connie), Phillip Cowan (Sherry), Darrell Cowan (Lisa) all of Columbia, Clifton Cowan of Jamestown, and Donnie Cowan (Phyllis) of Campbellsville; five grandchildren, Kaden Bardin, Kyptyn Mouser, Kathryn Rodgers, Natalie Sanders and Kyle Curry; special caregivers, Beverly Wilson and Kimberly Russell; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Clifton Cowan, Bro. Matthew Cowan and Bro. Rodney Smith officiating and burial in Bearwallow Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday.
Casket bearers will be Darrell Cowan, Kyptyn Mouser, Ricky Kerns, Brian Cowan, Doug Cowan, Tim Cowan, and Anthony Cowan.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
